  • What does ‘unmanned reception desk’ mean?
    • There is no staff manning our reception. However we are available by phone 09.00 – 18.00 every day.
    • You manage your own check-in. On the day of your arrival you will receive an email with information regarding your stay and a key code that is used to unlock doors at the Hostel.
    • We have staff present at the Minihotel & Hostel every day. Contact us if you need to get in touch with them.
    • Since you are given a personal key code, you can check in anytime after 16.00 and check out anytime prior to 11.00. You can also come and go as you please during your stay.
  • How do I check-in?
    • The day before your arrival, you will receive an email with all the information you need for your check-in and stay.
    • On the day of your arrival, at 12.00, you will receive an email and text message with information on what room and sleeping pod you’re allocated, along with your key code. If you arrive early, the key code can be used to access the lounge and kitchen while waiting for your room to be ready.
    • Read the email to avoid any confusion or misunderstanding.
    • If you have booked on the same day as your arrival, all information will be provided by email in time for your check-in.
    • All foreign visitors must register at time of arrival. This due to regulations by the Border Police. You will find registration forms at the front desk. Fill it in, sign and drop it in the designated opening.
  • Do you provide parking?
    • No, we do not offer private parking. However we often recommend the parking garage below the Lund City Library only 150 meters away from Winstrup Minihotel & Hostel.
  • How do I check-out?
    • You need to leave your room by 11.00 on check-out day. If you have stayed in our minihotel, leave your room key in the door for our staff to collect it.
    • Collect your bed-linnen and drop it off in the grey laundry baskets by the front door. If you have used our towels please drop these off in the same location.
    • Done! Make sure you haven’t left anything behind.
    • If you are happy with your stay, we encourage you to leave a positive review. It always makes us happy!
  • Are towels and padlocks available at the Minihotel and Hostel?
    • Guests in our minihotel have towels included in their stay.
    • If you are a guest in the sleeping pods and would like to rent a towel or padlock for your stay, please contact us ahead of arrival and we will make sure it is ready on your bed upon check-in.
    • If your need for a towel or padlock is recognised after check-in, call us at +46 46 – 80 900 between 09.00 – 18.00 and we will make sure to provide it for you.
  • Are hairdryers and ironing boards available at the Minihotel & Hostel?
    • You will find a hairdryer and ironing board on the shelf in our large bathroom, behind the grey curtain. Feel free to use them and return when you are done.
  • Can I pay in cash?
    • No, as our front desk is unmanned at all times we are not able to handle cash payment. All bookings are paid prior to arrival. If you prefer to pay using PayPal or Swish instead of a credit card this can be arranged. Contact us and we will provide the right information.
